Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is a famous American singer and actor. The parents of Kristen Bell include Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier, both television news directors. She was raised and born in Huntington Woods Michigan. She is from Polish heritage (mother) as well as German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen was already an accomplished entertainer at an early stage. In 1992, she went to her first audition and won the role of Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell's mother signed her up with an agency just before her 13th birthday. She then appeared in television advertisements as well as newspaper advertisements. In the same year she began taking private acting lessons. Bell was credited as a character in the film Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell studied at Shrine Catholic High School where she took part in musical and drama club. She was a part of Dorothy in the high-school production in The Wizard of Oz. Bell then moved in New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She studied musical theater there. Bell dropped out of school in 2001 to take on the character of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. Her first film credits in Pootie Tang at the beginning of 2001. The scene however, was trimmed and now her only appearance is in the end credits. Bell played featured in the Broadway revival of The Crucible starring Liam Neeson & Angela Bettis.
